Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is looking for a Brand Sales Specialist, responsible for selling IBM Data & AI Offerings to our Swiss Insurance & Healthcare & Lifescience customers. We are looking for a highly motivated sales that comes up with new ideas, loves working in team, thinks solution oriented, and always dares to go the extra miles in order to find solutions four our clients. You will be responsible for:

Managing a dedicated client set in Switzerland (Insurance, Healthcare, Life Science) and define, confirm, and communicate the differentiated values of IBM's Solutions at both the technical and business level.

Managing the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.

Using your solution selling expertise to identify and qualify business opportunities and respond optimally to client's needs in order to create a strategic, long-term partnership with your clients.

Delivering business value through reference and use case selling, and proof of concept engagements.

Preparing client proposals and responding to RFI and RFPs.

Identifying client approvers, decision-makers, and influencers, and develop strategies for each to mitigate risk and increase agreement confidence.

Strengthening client and BP relationships through regular engagement through virtual and face-to-face meetings.

Organise and manage industry events and user groups to generate market interest.

Work in partnership with the broader ecosystem, Business Developers, Pre-sales, Technical Sellers, Partner Managers and Marketers, to build sales campaigns and incremental pipeline for Data & AI Products.

Leverage tools to build and maintain a current and accurate pipeline of early-stage, upside, and forecast agreements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

We are looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience.

  • Experience exceeding sales quota for software

  • Sales experience focused on Data Science / Information Architecture / Information Governance sales

  • Knowledge of Swiss Lifesciences / Insurance / Healthcare sector is a plus

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to present solutions in business terms to executives and senior executives

  • Ability to sell solutions in a multi-product environment, On-premise, SaaS and Services

  • Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers

  • A background in consultative customer engagement

  • Fluent in English (German a strong plus)
