IBM Wintel Specialist in Wroclaw, Poland

Your Role and Responsibilities

Currently, we are looking for Wintel Specialist.

  • In this role you will be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining one of the largest IT infrastructures for global financial institution.

  • You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, propose improvements, cooperate directly with the customer and have direct impact on service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Your positive attitude and cooperation spirit will be deeply required in communication with multiple internal teams and external vendors and your learning skills are more than welcome to quickly understand customer specifics and his expectations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Windows Server administrator skills (Windows server 2012 / 2016 / 2019):

  • Installation

  • Administration

  • Troubleshooting

  • OS migration planning and implementation

  • ITIL Request/Incident/Change process base knowledge

  • Virtualization based on VMWare

  • Physical and Virtualized Storage management

  • Hosts and clusters management

  • vRealize automation

  • VmTools installation/updates

  • identification of possible issues and proactive problem solution

  • planning of environment scaling

  • Security

  • Vulnerabilities analyze and prevention (software, firmware and drivers)

  • Security Update installation, managing and troubleshooting

  • Security breach analyze and prevention

  • Systems Hardening

  • Network configuration, management and troubleshooting:

  • Configuration

  • Routing

  • Trunking

  • Teaming

  • Tunneling

  • Hardware maintaining

  • Physical server configuration (BIOS, RAID)

  • Issue detection

  • Administration basing on iRMC, iDrac, ILO

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • English language B1/B2

  • Powershell, SQL & IIS knowledge is a plus.

  • German language is a plus
