Your Role and Responsibilities
The Veterans Benefit Admin Subject Matter Expert (VBA SME) is accountable for providing subject matter expertise on the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act request processes. You shall reduce the reliance on the VBA for requirements elicitation.
This position is based in either Washington, DC, St Louis, MO or other VA Regional offices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3 years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) working at a VBA Regional Office supervising or serving as a management analyst in a capacity associated with FOIA and Privacy Act requests and processing.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience relevant to FOIA/Privacy Act requirement.
Familiarity with RPA, AI and OCR.
