As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior HR Solution Developer, you will support development and integration of new solution modules, in addition to operations and maintenance and small enhancement work.
Activities include: designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting system enhancements. Candidate must be able to propose solutions to user requests, design and develop those solutions, and work with business users to conduct and complete User Acceptance Testing and deployment activities.
The Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) program is an exciting opportunity to assist VA, GSA and its customers transform how they deliver HR services. This builds on IBM's Federal HR Line of Business offering, and positions IBM as the leading private sector HR shared services provider supporting the US Federal Government. In an effort to strengthen focus on its core missions, the agencies made the decision to divest technology services related to HR LOB Shared Services and procure the services of IBM's HR LOB Shared Services Center (SSC). IBM has migrated VA, GSA and GSA's 32 external customers to its HR LOB solution, including both HR and time and attendance (T&A) systems. The solution is built on the Oracle PeopleSoft platform and continues to expand its footprint with new modules and new federal agencies.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $105,000 to $208,000 based on a full time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience managing large complex enterprise system migration projects (greater than 25000 users)
