Your Role and Responsibilities
This role is around understanding/interpreting requirements, shaping client understanding and points of view, creating compliant and differentiated solutions that are compelling and evaluated with high technical merit, ultimately resulting in award of new cloud business and successful delivery of proposed solution/architecture. The expectation is deep understanding of GCP Cloud and GCP for Government capabilities and broad understanding across cloud solutions in areas such as hosting, cloud migration, DevSecOps, security/accreditation, and day 2 operations. This includes the requirement of on having both the Google Cloud Certification and Google Certified Solution Expert Certification.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $128,000 to $198,500 based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 3 years of experience with the following:
Architecting, implementing, and managing environments within GCP. Experience needs to include GCP Virtual machines, Resource Manager, Service Fabric, Container Service, SQL Database, Virtual Network, DNS, and GCP Active Directory at a minimum.
Migrating client workloads into GCP from other clouds (public or private) as well as traditional on-prem solutions
Managing client workloads across multiple GCP regions
Integrating GCP offerings with other monitoring tools via API
Automating deployment and management of GCP workloads via API, integration tools, or other methods
Managed service experience (e.g. performing systems administration, monitoring, NOC/SOC/EOC, Service Desk)
Developing detailed technical schedules as input to an overall project schedule
Managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
Strong technical writing and documentation skills; ability to clearly articulate technical requirements and relate them to business objectives
Demonstrated experience operating as a facilitator with excellent verbal and written communications.
Strong verbal and written communication experience in the following forms: (Presentations, RFIs, RFPs, Orals, Conferences, Client Negotiation, Business Objectives/Requirements, Facilitator)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
: Preferred 2 or more years of experience with the following:
Experience with additional GCP services, applications and Federal Marketplace offerings
Experience managing GCP Government and/or GCP DoD Clouds
Familiarity with GCP Stack for private cloud
Skills in a formal PM discipline (PMI or other PM accreditation is a plus)
Experience with Federal Government contracts, including security compliance guidelines for NIST 800-53 moderate and high impact baselines
Federal Secret or Top Secret Security clearance * ITIL V3 Certification preferred
Experience working with managed service providers on top of GCPIaaS/PaaS offerings * Experience, or situational awareness to the government impact levels, IATT and ATO process.
