IBM [IBM Korea] IBM Cloud Private for Data Sales Leader in SEOUL, South Korea

Job Description

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the revenues for the IBM Cloud Private for Data in South Korea.

  • Must achieve specific budget objectives for software transactional revenue, term and SaaS Signings and revenue.

  • Direct / coordinate / influence all roles and routes that affect IBM Cloud Private for data business success including:

direct sales (hybrid data management sellers, portfolio sellers, SCLs), channel sales, technical sales, digital sales,

marketing, lab services, enablement, operations and offering management

  • Good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Governance and advance analytics solution stacks.

  • Able to articulate value in terms of business use case benefits for the clients using IBM analytics stack.

  • Run WW and Geography (Asia Pacific) programs including:

sales plays, reference programs, OI/OO programs, enablement programs, etc.

  • Maintains expert knowledge of the management and/or sales techniques associated with Cloud and Analytics market

  • Mentors and coaches the sales team to high performance results.

  • Plans and conducts complex negotiations with team members and customers, in any activities relating to

IBM Cloud Private for data sales.

  • Plans and leads negotiations with the highest levels of customer management, for the acquisition of software.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Skill Requirements:

  • Experienced sales leader with minimum 8 years software selling experience

  • Excellent knowledge of Analytics and Cloud services: industry evolution, value propositions, software / service stacks, competitive marketplace.

  • Ability to articulate disruptive technologies – AI, data science, Cloud Native led business strategies for multiple industries: banking, insurance, telecommunications, retail, etc.

  • Understands and excels in high-value enterprise selling to large and medium organizations.

  • “Hunter” sales capable to own and execute a sales cycle from start to close.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Preferred Professional & Technical Expertise:

  • Excellent coaching and personnel development skills

  • Good understanding of IBM Cloud and IBM software product
