Your Role and Responsibilities
Cognitive Process Automation Consultant
In support of this vision, IBM GBS is looking for energetic consultants with a foundation in modern automation technologies. Automation consultants partner with clients and internal stakeholders on the creation of value-based automation and process transformation solutions. Top candidates possess a flexible mindset that enables the application of a variety of techniques, solutions, and technologies depending on the situation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with client business and technical leads on automation opportunity identification, solution development and functional design
Plan, coordinate, and execute client workshops for the identification, refinement, and prioritization of use cases/processes for automation.
Assist in the development of business case, price case and associated ROI calculations as part of pursuits
Align customer requirements with technical capabilities and solutions
Determine appropriate key performance indicators, metrics, and outcomes associated with automation pursuits
Serve as the liaison between sales and delivery upon opportunity closure, including creation and delivery of necessary documentation to illustrate the desired customer state
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
5-10+ years of proven successful experience in business development, partner and customer success roles
Hands-on domain expertise in one or more of Financial Services, Telecom, Manufacturing, Retail and e-Commerce domains
Consultative nature, skills and demonstrable client facing experience are required
Exceptional communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing client needs
Comfortable navigating complex enterprise policies and organizations
Resourceful, creative and able to find innovative ways to achieve results
Detail oriented and highly skilled in staying focused amid complex situations
Good working knowledge and understanding of a variety of automation and business process management solutions, vendors, capabilities, features, and functionalities. (e.g. IBM BPM, BluePrism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, IPcenter, Pega Systems, Nice Systems, etc.)
Experience developing responses to Automation RFI/RFP
Experience creating and demonstrating POCs to clients
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
5-10+ years of proven successful experience in business development, partner and customer success roles
1-3+ years of Uipath
Good working knowledge and understanding of a variety of automation and business process management solutions, vendors, capabilities, features, and functionalities. (e.g. IBM BPM, BluePrism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, IPcenter, Pega Systems, Nice Systems, etc.)
Experience developing responses to Automation RFI/RFP
Experience creating and demonstrating POCs to clients
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
BS or BA, MBA a plus
