Your Role and Responsibilities
Manage overall delivery and scope of the schedule, budget, communications, risks, issues, dependencies and tracking all deliverables and milestones and resources
Combines Project Management expertise with an understanding of the technology enabling the client's Cloud Migration delivery
Enforces project changes management to determine if a change is in scope or requires a project change requests
Works closely with technical leaders on the delivery team, understands/facilitates technical discussions with the team, supports and helps resolve technical issues impacting delivery
Will answer high level technical questions without a dependency on additional technical resources
Demonstrates an attitude of ownership and willingness to learn and lead
Possesses strong client facing skills and operates as a trusted advisor on Modernization solutions, easily bridges business solutions and technology
Stay abreast of new technologies which supports proposing new innovative approaches to the client
Continually learns from SME's
Quickly identifies when a problem exists, communicate it and address it early
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience as the Project Manager on Application Modernization/Application Dev /Mainframe Modernization engagements
Experience running modernization offerings, delivery framework and the processes, tools/techniques needed to address the project's delivery
PMI certified and/or IBM certified as a Senior Project Manager, Complex Program Manager or Senior Program Manager
Certification in a Cloud Platform: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, RedHat OpenShift
Active involvement with solutions and delivery decisions with Architects, Developers by understanding the solution's technology components
Experience facilitating technical discussions with the team, supporting and resolving technical issues
Experience answering high level technical questions without a dependency on additional technical resources
Experience bridging the technical solution with the business solution
Located in either the Dallas, Chicago, NYC, Atlanta or SF Bay area
