Your Role and Responsibilities
The primary role of the Industry Consultant is to provide support and coordinate for our client related to NC Data Warehouse requirements.
This position requires to be in Raleigh, NC location.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage project and operations scope and review changes with the Client Director/Managers.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure proper strategy, plan, alignment, integration, and visibility.
Drive consensus and decision-making with Client Services, Program Management, Technical team, and executive management.
Maintain visibility on day-to-day activities with project teams and ensuring sufficient face-time with key executive stakeholders.
Assign, Communicate and review work assignments with team
Manage and proactively escalate project issues and risks
Provide status reporting to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
Manage client responsibilities and expectations
Provide proper project communications to the client, IBM Watson Health executive management, and stakeholders
Independently audit/validate that project deliverables, project action items, issues and risk management meet IBM Watson Health and Client expectations.
Manage project billing numbers and tasks
Assist Client Leader, where appropriate, with maintaining the client relationship.
Participate in Project Management process improvement initiatives when appropriate.
Meet departmental guidelines for training and continuous professional development.
Participate in proposal development and pricing estimates when needed.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 7 years of Information Technology healthcare industry experience.
Minimum 5 years of Medicaid/Medicare or MMIS experience.
5+ years of experience using project tracking tools (Microsoft Project, ALM tools (e.g. Jira, CA Rally)
5+ years of demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, quality, change management and project financials.
Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization and external clients in a leadership capacity
Outstanding critical thinking, questioning, and listening skills; superior attention to detail
Time management skills for managing multiple individual and team tasks simultaneously while completing work and meeting client deliverables
PMP Certification required
CSM or any agile Certification required
