Your Role and Responsibilities
Do you have a passion for learning and applying modern software engineering practices? Are you excited to use these practices to deliver and manage mission critical services at scale? Are you an experienced backend software developer with DBA experience? Our team located in RTP, is looking for a software developer to help us further develop our strategic cloud technologies.
Develop database stored procedures based on user stories supporting ongoing development.
Perform Database health monitoring and proactively mitigate identified issues.
Support application infrastructure environment for DB on IBM Cloud.
Work with the application team to continuously improve performance, design, and processes.
Abide by Incident, Change and Problem Management of the supported infrastructure.
Maintain compliance posture as per security policies, Global Data Privacy, and internal IBM Corporate Compliance ASCA certification.
Support the governance of the deployment process through Development, UAT, and Production environments.
Follow and be a champion of agile best practices.

Demonstrated experience in software development and support
Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment.
