-Build a schematic toy model of how the immune system learns and adapts to the virus in order to clear it
-Build a schematic toy model of how the virus changes its genetic composition through mutation and genetic recombination to escape the immune system
-Build a workflow of all the potential interactions between host and virus to identify the events that will impact the spread of the pathogen in the population
-Implement a computational model for a single host which describes the infection process, including the immune response
-Implement a computational model for a population which starts from a single infected host and follows the spread of the virus in a large population
