As a Product Management leader, you are responsible for setting the strategic direction of your offering, as well as leading your team to successfully manage the full lifecycle of their respective products and components. Among other things, you will be responsible for uncovering market needs and evolutions; defining strategic initiatives to advance the product and business; determining effective packaging, pricing, and licensing of your offering; and driving the business through on-going collaboration with sales and marketing. In addition to leading your team, you will also be responsible, end-to-end, for key projects. A successful Product Management leader thrives leading cross-functional projects and is able to effectively work across different teams, including architecture, development, business development, sales, channels, and marketing, to bring to market compelling, differentiated solutions to help address customer challenges. This person is passionate about customer success, comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to customers, eager to receive user feedback, and willing to own individual parts of the product, in addition to the overall strategy.
In product management, no two days will be the same. If you're a self-motivated individual who is excited by the idea of evolving market opportunities, passionate about solving evolving challenges, and embraces change, a career in Product Management may be for you.
