IBM Network and Voice Project Manager in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for Network and Voice Project Managers with business leadership skills in one of the premier groups at IBM, the office of the CIO, who are responsible for enabling the success of the corporation through the integration of acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic divestitures. You will provide oversight, implementation, and project management for IBM's mergers and acquisitions CIO office, integrating acquired business's voice and data needs into IBM's Cisco and AT&T Voice & Data Networking infrastructure. You will work with a team of talented professionals-true masters of their craft-to drive business value and synergy from these transactions.

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Enterprise Technology disciplines specific to Cisco, Avaya, AT&T provisioning, and SDWAN implementations.

  • Experience in Enterprise Voice & Data Architecture design and life cycle engineering principals, hands-on implementation, and physical/logical configuration best practices.

  • Experience in best practice routing and switching technologies & protocols

  • Resume demonstrating where client requirements were satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of solutions.

  • Project management skills required for the overall project plan, budget, work breakdown structure, schedule, deliverables, staffing requirements, managing project execution and risk and applying project and program management processes and tools. Incumbents are required to manage efforts of IBM and client employees as well as third-party vendors to ensure that an integrated solution is provided to meet the client needs.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology.

  • 5+ years' experience in Enterprise technology disciplines specific to Cisco, AT&T and SDWAN

  • 5+ years' experience in Enterprise Voice & Data Architecture design and life cycle engineering

  • Experienced in large enterprise/global environments.

  • Industry level certifications in one or more of the following:

  • Cisco CCIE

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional, Voice

  • Ability to be self-directed and work effectively in a teaming environment both with and without direct supervision.

  • Professional speech and interaction with all levels including executives.

  • Demonstrated ability to defend and support ideas.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Proven analytic skills and the ability to isolate and resolve complex issues.

  • Experience in sales or service of Fortune 500 companies.

  • Successful project delivery in a Fortune 100 company.
