Quote to Cash (Q2C) Transformation is within the IBM Finance & Operations organization. Q2C Transformation is in the forefront of designing and delivering optimized operating models for our IBM sellers around the world to remain competitive across every business unit within their markets. To enable this large scale initiative, thoughtful, intuitive, and innovative design is a cornerstone to its success.

Q2C Transformation is seeking a digital product designer who can not only envision how the various types of users will experience the operating platforms but also craft powerful experiences through design. To achieve this objective, responsibilities include developing high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. This role requires you to collaborate closely with product managers, developers, user group communities, architects and many others to solve complex challenges. In addition to new concept designs, we have many existing applications in use that will need constructive critiques using a design thinking approach for identifying improvements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Degree: Bachelor in Fine Arts

  • Project based experience in the field of User Experience (UX)

  • Project based experience in Rapid Prototyping

  • Experience with design programs (Illustrator and Sketch)

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Specialty in User Experience Design, Interaction Design

  • Development skills

  • Design research experience
