We are looking for a lead Backend Software Developer in the CIO Blockchain for Supply Chain team. Candidates must have a solid experience in back-end / server-side development and passion for new technologies. Be ready to engage closely with our Business Analysts and Frontend developers to build Cloud applications that drive a great user experience across an expanding business network. We want applicants eager to learn who will thrive in an open, energetic, flexible, collaborative environment – and seek for a creative freedom and an opportunity to work on high performing teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
7 plus years’ experience in application development
4 plus years’ advanced practice of Agile development methodologies
3 plus years’ experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Travis CI
3 plus years’ experience with NoSQL database administration
3 plus years’ experience with Test Driven Development
3 plus years’ experience with DevOps tools such as Git/GitHub, JIRA, Trello
3 plus years’ experience with unit/integration/automated testing
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Experience with message-oriented middleware (MQ or equivalent), REST APIs, network protocols
Blockchain Technology, IBM Blockchain Platform, IBM Cloud, CIO managed infrastructure (e.g. Cirrus)
