Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Services Integration Hub is seeking to hire a Client Technical Solutioner with cloud solutioning skills such as Linux, Kubernetes, Containers and Open Source cloud software.This role is responsible for developing and costing cloud, midrange, and storage solutions based on client's Request for Proposals (RFP). Required Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proven ability to cost and solution client requirements - specifically in the cloud space - before a deal signs
Develop solutions that can integrate across the entire technical spectrum - servers, network, tools, software, hardware, security, and multiclouds.
Interaction with other teams is required to solution and cost the deal. Sometimes requiring travel and face to face interaction.
Ability to present a solution to clients in high pressure oral presenations, selling the solution is the best possible.
Develop cost cases using standard and custom cost case models.
Facilitate or engage in problem solving to create multiple solutions.
Desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly, with a track record to do such.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a demanding environment.
Strong intellectual curiosity, motivation to advance in the profession.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
'- At least 3 years’ experience solutioning or administering cloud infrastructure.
Deep knowledge of solutioming and costing deals
Skills in Kubernetes, Containers and Open Source cloud software
Basic knowledge in Agile methodologies.
Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English language.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
• Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Information Technology
• Advanced solutioning
• Financial background
• AWS or Azure certified
