IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Application Consultant is responsible for:
Working with process owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional requirements within ServiceNow and proposing resolution and design suggestions
ServiceNow instance core setup and configuration and customizations, including, but not limited to: data imports and software integrations
Designing, configuring and customizing new applications and corresponding Service processes
Assisting in troubleshooting patch / release management issues focusing on specific product (IT, HR, GRC, CSM etc.,)
Developing UI forms, fields, notifications and workflows
Creating new service catalog requests and items with variables
Creating, monitoring, modifying, and publishing service catalog workflows with approvals
Creating an access control rule (ACL)
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years’ experience in ServiceNow as a System Implementor or similar responsibility
Experience in implementing ServiceNow processes and functions
Proficiency in ServiceNow Portal Widget Technology
Integration experience with specific Product system like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Watson, etc
Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
Working knowledge of relational databases
Strong Process Background on one or multiple domain area such as (IT/HR/CSM/Procurement)
Java Script and development background
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience implementing, configuring and customizing ServiceNow
Integration experience with directories, such as Active Directory using methods such as LDAPs
Web Services integration experience
Expertise implementing, configuring and customizing ServiceNow preferred
Industry/Business process background (e.g Banking , Insurance, State & Local etc)
