Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining w3 Intranet documents as requested by program owners, content owners and delegates in compliance with IBM Intranet standards

  • Establishing excellent communication with program owners/content owners/ delegates

  • Process updates received in Jira and deliver within the agreed service level agreement

  • Ensures that requested updates adhere to the tool's capabilities and IBM w3 web standards

  • Works on special projects like web restructure/redesign

  • Work with the team leader in looking for alternative ways to solve problems if immediate solution/assistance from CIO is not available

  • Collaborates with the team in finding ways to improve our w3 hr web content

  • Follows up with countries not making changes to their w3 web pages

  • Involve relevant party in resolution of out of scope requests (e.g. broken links)

  • Providing training on different tools used for Intranet updates to colleagues and/or country process owners

  • Monitoring intranet traffic

  • Dealing frequently with senior IBM HR Managers, leaders and process owners

  • Making decisions based on process documents and management input where required

  • Responding to clients' requests quickly, completely and accurately

  • Having strong understanding of business controls requirements and ability to implement into a new process

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Web development (HTML, CSS, XML)

  • Javascript or other programming languages

  • Content Management Tools like w3CM, ECM or equivalent

  • Good troubleshooting, problem solving and deducting skills

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

  • Developed computer skills (Word, Excel, Explorer, Lotus Notes etc)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Administrative skills for W3 Content Organization

  • Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Business Analysis Skills

  • Strong customer orientation

About Business UnitThis position currently sits within Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services (IS) or a shared services function supporting GTS.
