In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Engage with client teams in understanding business context and defining effective solutions.
As a consultant with banking experience advice business on direction to take. Direct teams effort to define technical, operational and user requirements. Present solution and get stakeholder buy-in.
Work with infra-architects to define the infrastructure setup needed.
Guide and mentor teams to deliver the solution.
Define reference architecture and standards for teams to adhere. Conduct reviews to ensure compliance.
Foresee potential problems and proactively suggest improvements.
Build framework components and complex parts of the solution.
Hand off solution to operational support teams, and assist support teams in troubleshooting production problems.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3 plus years of experience as a solution architect
1 to 2 years Backbase Implementation
Significant experience in Banking Domain
Experience with operational management of solutions delivered to production.
Knowledge of infrastructure setup involved in realization of a solution.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Good Knowledge of fullstack technologies (front-end up to back-end) and mobile development
Experience with Agile delivery and DevOps methods.
Business case modelling skills would be preferable.
Ability to work collaboratively and productively across internal and client teams. Cloud Certification preferable.
