Your Role and Responsibilities
As a network Engineer, You are expected to work on Networking products or solutions based on any vendor hardware /vendor operating system software ( ie Vendor agnostic) with little or minimum support from superiors. E.g. include: Skills on Routers/Switches/ Load balancer. Typical examples of the other deliverables would be of deploying, managing and implementing networking solutions to address client business requirements.
Service Delivery Skills in a Managed Services Environment to meet/exceed contractual SLAs.
Manage, monitor, resolve (remotely / with OEM / with field team support) and report all network equipment related problems deployed at various client locations across India
Prepare daily report on incidents and publish the same.
Ensure process compliance, adherence & improvement.
Analyzing the measurements and escalating for any abnormality observed.
Must exhibit technical leadership and should have experience of team working, resolution of conflicts, process improvement and business growth.
Strong planning, communication and organizational building skills
Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
Work in a dynamic fast paced environment, ensure on time service delivery within the budget.
Should have proven
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of experience in Network Services Delivery, Large Projects / Program Management.
Experience in designing, deploying, configuring, support and troubleshooting including hands on experience on network devices e.g. CISCO switches (Nexus Series , 65xx, 45xx series etc.), Routers (76xx, ASR, GSR etc.), Security equipment (ASA, ACS etc.). Checkpoint Security Devices, F5, Juniper M Series, MX Series, T Series, SRX, etc.,
Experience of managing ISP network.
In-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting of switching technologies like STP, VTP, Multicast, QOS, etc.
In-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting of Routing Protocols like OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, PBR etc.
Should be able to handle complex issues. In-depth understanding of VPN and MPLS.
Good understanding of incident management procedures.
Identifying, tracking and closing all the incidents with minimal business impact.
Provide information on incidents to customer and Keep a track of all the incidents and ensure same is closed.
Ensure all the SOPs/MOPs/NOC specific documents are maintained and updated for various clients.
Shall be responsible for upkeep of updated inventory and operation documentation.
Perform change management related activities.
Certifications: Juniper -Cisco - CCIE (R&S) and/or CCIE (Service Provider)
Ready to work in 24x7 environment.
