IBM Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Japanese Speaking) in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be part of the IBM Global Talent Acquisition team and work with Talent Acquisition professionals, HR stakeholders, candidates, and hiring managers. You will be processing transactions and providing support to all-round talent acquisition activities for IBM Japan and its subsidiaries as below.

  • Schedule interviews with Japanese candidates, and Japanese hiring managers, and coordinate the process with Japanese recruitment agencies.

  • Perform pre-employment checks.

  • Generate offer letters.

  • Process payments of transportation fees related to talent acquisition (e.g., interviews, aptitude tests, internships).

  • Process procurement requests related to talent acquisition (e.g., equipment needed for seminars/interviews and agency fees).

  • Maintain accurate records of talent acquisition activities done to ensure audit readiness.

  • Work closely with the in-country HR and talent acquisition professionals within IBM Japan to ensure accurate and timely delivery of work assigned.

  • Work with various teams within the company to handle and resolve ad-hoc requests/inquiries from clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong communication skills with excellent command of Japanese Language(both written and spoken).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to be a team player and collaborate effectively with a broader team across the globe.

  • Ability to work reasonably independently and to be able to manage a variable workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work.

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to getting the job done to complete the organization's business goals.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.

  • Innovative and agile.

Required Technical Expertise:

  • Fresh graduates to 2 years experience.

  • Fluent in Japanese. Japanese Native, JLPT Level 1 or Level 2

  • Must be able to read, write and speak in Japanese at working level.

  • Graduated from a Japan university for non-native speakers. Local candidates with JLPT Level 1 or Level 2 are encouraged to apply

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Working experience in Japan.

  • Shared services experience.
