As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You are an Application Architect that will provide thought leadership and input into the development of IBM Cúram software solutions for our social services clients.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions by leveraging in-depth technical knowledge of the Cúram software.
Design Curam centric solutions that may leverage other COTS or custom developed applications that drive either efficiency or increased digital transformation solutions by leveraging growth areas such as artificial intelligence, analytics, automation, DevOps, Cloud, blockchain, etc.
Collaborate with application developers and other stakeholders in support of tactical and strategic Cúram software centric initiatives.
Serve as a Curam subject matter expert.
Responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, upgrade, testing and capacity planning, performance tuning and the debugging of issues.
Client focused and can handle consulting and development engagements independently.
Review technical work products and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Intermediate Level - 5-10 years Curam experience
5 to 10 years of professional/industrial experience in software development. (intermediate)
Should be proficient in Java development
Should have experience with JEE (JSP/Servlets, EJB, Java Persistence), XML & JSON, Ant.
Should have experience with Java based frameworks (e.g., Struts, Spring, Hibernate).
Should have experience in RDBMS.
Excellent Client & Communication Skills
Cúram APIs for integration of third-party solutions
Federal Enhanced Reliability Clearance
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Cúram Developers Certification (CCD).
Web services (REST/SOAP) and API based integration
RDBMS like Oracle, DB2 and MySQL.
Azure Cloud Experience (nice to have, not mandatory)
previous experience with Cúram intake (IEG and UA) and case worker workspace functionality with a digital frontend.
Senior Level 10+ years Curam Architect Experience
Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
