Your Role and Responsibilities

As the WW zSeries Expert Labs Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for driving WW zSeries Software Migration Expert Labs Signings and Revenue growth against the financial plan.

Primary Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Understand the Client Journey for IBM's customers who are interested in moving from a competitive zSeries offering to an IBM offering and develop the Go To Market strategy in conjunction with the Global Software Migration Project Office.

  • Partner with the Services Delivery team to understand capabilities and gaps in order to drive signings growth.

  • Interlock with Global SMPO to understand key account prospects and identify opportunities to propose software migration and deploy IBM Software.

  • Interlock with Expert Services GEO leaders to understand key market dynamics and develop strategies to drive services signings attainment.

  • Ensure that WW zSeries Software Migration Signings and Revenue forecast is accurate and in line with zSeries software forecast calls.

  • Partner with Services Delivery management to report to Global SMPO the key successes, challenges and issues related to the zSeries software migration services.

  • Partner with IBM Services and IBM SW Channel management to drive the channel strategy.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ Years direct, face to face customer selling experience

  • 3+ years selling professional / consulting services

  • Functional competence across the zSeries platform

  • Ideal candidates should have a passion for solving customer problems and winning every time at everything

Demonstrated 3 or more years of experience in leading complex deals and value-based selling
