The Technical Delivery, will help IBM scope work, identify appropriate resources, set goals, track and report progress, develop schedules, and communicate to customers. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, balance trade-offs, and encourage risk-taking to improve customer outcomes. You should bring a cool head, strong technical background, be detail oriented, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be an exemplary communicator. Your technical expertise and operational excellence will influence your team’s decisions and help IBM drive secure and robust customer solutions. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Understand customer objectives, develop alternatives, and design solutions

  • Contribute to determination of the delivery approach in collaboration with customers to achieve objectives

  • Maintain expectations of all stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle, through effective communication and demonstrations as solutions progress

  • Coordinate the efforts of multiple developers and customers to manage the full technical solution lifecycle

  • Oversee client/customer/vendor relations to ensure that service expectations are met or exceeded

  • Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule

  • Monitor and report all project risks and issues; leads mitigation and resolution efforts to limit risks; escalates as needed

  • Ensure quality practices are maintained by the team and contribute to development and evolution of the knowledge base

  • Talking to clients regarding access and using the IBM application

  • Options for transferring data via FTP

  • Advise of network access around firewall/proxy restrictions

  • Deploy IBM application

  • Setup and configure user access

  • Backup/Restore databases

  • Run operation tasks in IBM application (Import Updates and Periodic Updates)

  • Run / develop SQL scripts

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 7+ years leading complex, large scale, IT/technical/engineering programs

  • 4 + years working with current web technologies (especially Cloud)

  • 4+ years of experience maintain composure in stressful situations, responds to customer needs quickly and effectively, adapts to change

  • 4+ years experience implementing AWS/cloud services Deep understanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery

  • 4 + years of experience personal computer and business solutions software skills

  • 4+ years experience with good communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers, and management

  • 4+ years of data administration, design, and architecture

  • 4+ years of analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or SCRUM/Agile certified

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 10+ years leading complex, large scale, IT/technical/engineering programs

  • 10 + years of experience implementing AWS/cloud services Deep understanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery

  • 10 + years experience with good communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers, and management
