IBM Global Business Services is hiring a Managing Consultant with subject matter expertise in Wealth Management to join our Financial Markets consulting team—work with leading firms in the Wealth Management, Private Banking, Trust, Asset Management, and Securities Services fields.
Lead both short-term and long-term consulting projects and teams to successful delivery
Manage project goals across four dimensions: process, information technology, organization enablement, and knowledge
Manage comprehensive transformation programs consistent with industry-leading practices, such as SaaS, analytics, mobile and social
Participate or lead with project deliverables, stakeholder management and operating partnerships between product, operations and technology
Collaborate closely with clients to organize objectives and prepare roadmaps
Identify capabilities to enable roadmaps and create project plans to deliver capabilities and objectives
Create a program office to manage roadmap implementation and delivery
Project domains include:
Client Servicing, contact center, digital agents
Digital Wealth Products/Robo-Advising
Scaling expertise in Wealth Management sales and service
Client analytics and insight
In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients and will be required to travel up to 75%. Candidates residing in the greater New York City metro area are preferred, but other East Coast locations will be considered
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 3 years of experience in medium-to-large scale systems implementations, process re-engineering, or other project-oriented work
At least 2 years of experience working within front office in wealth management, private banking, brokerage and asset servicing or institutional securities front office or in financial markets back office.
At least 1 years of experience in project and program management with stakeholder management responsibilities
At least 1 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams incorporating business, operations and technology
1 year of experience in management/advisory consulting (strategy or operations consulting, pre-implementation)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 4 years of experience in medium-to-large scale systems implementations, process re-engineering, or other project-oriented work
At least 4 years of experience working within front office in wealth management, private banking, brokerage and asset servicing or institutional securities front office or in financial markets back office.
At least 3 years of experience in project and program management with stakeholder management responsibilities
At least 3 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams incorporating business, operations and technology
At least 2 years of experience in management/advisory consulting (strategy or operations consulting, pre-implementation)
Familiarity with Broadridge (BPS, Impact, Gloss), Charles River, EISI/Naviplan, IBM BPM, IBM ODM, IBM Filenet Pega, Personal Trust (SEI), Salesforce.com, Thomson (Beta), Asset Aggregation (Yodlee, Quovo, Cashedge) or Securities Lending (Loannet)
Familiarity with experience design or agile delivery
