Your Role and Responsibilities

Change the Status quo, define the future of Hybrid Cloud and IT Operations with AI and Automation. With our team at the spearhead of IBM's two core markets of Hybrid Cloud and AI, we have an exciting opportunity for the Senior Offering Manager to be at the forefront of defining the next chapter of IT management and operations.

As Senior offering Manager, you will

  • Lead the strategy for the next-generation AI and Automation platform for IT Management and launch of new capabilities for IBM to be #1

  • Lead with Design Thinking to define an offering that the client would love

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering to create a scalable and robust offering

  • Determine pricing, marketing communication strategy, identify routes to market, and be responsible for enabling the channels working with Go-To-Market teams

  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities including competitive research, analyst reports making strategic recommendations for future product direction.

  • Closely work with teams from IBM Research to market test new technologies

  • Lead customer and stakeholder feedback programs and funnel this information into the product to inform the user experience and product requirements.

  • Present and position IBM's vision and offering to industry analysts.

  • Be a cross-functional team leader and a client advocate.

Successful candidates will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, a user-centric viewpoint, the drive to maximize market opportunities by designing and developing new offerings and capabilities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 7+ years experience with exposure to enterprise software products and businesses

  • 5+ years experience in product management or technical product management or applicable product related fields

  • 3+ years experience in IT management, monitoring, IT operations

  • Working with a cross-functional team of product, engineering, sales, legal, and finance

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, with an emphasis on understanding design and engineering perspectives

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and execution skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 3 years of client-facing experience

  • Proven experience bringing new solutions or offerings to market

  • Ability to quickly identify patterns among problems & issues

  • Active on Social Media to promote and evangelize IBM products and achievements
