Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities

As Security Delivery Specialist, you are responsible daily monitoring and/or maintenance of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environments and monitoring and responding to the alerts that generate from the tool.

  • Managing and providing L2 support on DLP.

  • Helping Local IT teams in troubleshooting DLP issues on non-complaint and not reporting clients. -Implementation of new policies.

  • Creating agent packages. -Monitoring policy violations.

  • Troubleshooting DLP issues in clients.-Creating reports based on non-complaint systems, incidents, policy violations and highest Offenders.

  • Provide guidance, recommendations, best practices, etc. for DLP operations, stabilize and optimize DLP system performance, including rules and reports, assist with DLP upgrades, installations and configuration.

  • Provide single point of contact and hands-on escalation and remediation for critical issues.

  • Respond rapidly to unplanned events, including after hours for Severity 1 issues.

  • Pro-actively communicate relevant technical information and alerts on known issues, hot fixes, new releases, etc.

  • Provide regular status reports for critical incidents, projects and proactive services-Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communicator: excellent technical writing, design consultation and knowledge transfer as well as presentation skills.

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision in a highly competitive environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Loss Prevention with Preferred products Symantec and Forcepoint. DLP.

  • Experience on DLP tools which includes configuring policies and reporting

  • Experience in monitoring and responding to alerts generated from the DLP systems and other technologies

  • Working knowledge of industry standard risk, governance and security standard methodologies

  • Proficient in incident response processes (detection, triage, incident analysis, remediation and reporting)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • One or more security certifications CEH, Security+, GSEC, GCIH, etc

  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies

  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work

  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management

  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
