IBM M&A Security Lead in Mulhuddart, Ireland

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Mergers & Acquisitions Security Lead will oversee the Cybersecurity Integration tasks for our Consulting Acquisitions, as they are integrated into IBM from acquisition close to transfer of business. This role will be responsible for sourcing individual Acquisition Security Focals for each acquisition, advising the Security Focals on integration tasks, and ensuring the completion of those tasks in support of the overall Mergers & Acquisitions integration plan.

Works directly with IBM Acquisition Integration team, Acquired Company developers, architects, offering management, and business executives to understand key Security Governance, Risk and Compliance issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities. Ensure that architectures are secure while also meeting client needs. They define business drivers and associated Security Governance, Risk and Compliance services including but not limited to Hosted Security event and log management, Security Risk Assessment, Security Health Check, Information Security, Security Policy Planning and development, PCI Compliance Advisory Services and Enterprise Security Architecture that can help their clients in achieving the business and security objectives. Consults and provides security guidance on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security practices that may have an impact on the security posture of the customer's environment. Leads compliance solutions including patching, health, vulnerabilities, Pen Tests, policies that may be BISO specific, regulations such as GDPR, Incident Response etc. May also serve as a dedicated focal point for managing security incidents that occur in the acquisition and acquisition's customer's environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

M&A Security Lead must have Project Management skills and experience, Secure Software Engineering/Security & Privacy by Design experience, as well as IT Security experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Familiarity with IBM's IT Security Standard, IBM's Security & Privacy by Design and PSIRT Programs, IBM's Vulnerability Management and Cybersecurity Incident Response Team processes is strongly encouraged for this role.
