Your Role and Responsibilities
With deep technical expertise, the Power Technical Sales Team is the trusted advisor for clients, business partner and also IBM colleagues when it comes to structured solution approaches with Power Systems in the pre-sales phase. The responsibility comprises client briefings, workshops, proof of concepts, TCO-analysis and much more. According to the market trend and IBM strategy a strong focus area is Enterprise Linux applications on Power Systems on premise or in the cloud.
• Your opportunity will be to drive structured technical sales activities including opportunity identification focusing on Enterprise Linux with SAP / SAS on IBM Power Systems. With your technical and architectural expertise and competitive knowledge you provide value propositions of the IBM solution, support in development and deployment of the right enablement materials to accelerate the sales success.
• You work together with and orchestrate a variety of internal resources in a matrix organization and external resources like business partner, ISVs or system integrator to win in the marketplace.
• With your knowledge about the solutions you identify gaps in the product roadmap and address the requirements to development. You actively contribute to social selling activities to create awareness of the IBM solutions in the market.
