In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. IBM Client Innovation Center Sweden AB offers local clients relevant skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced system specialist to work with our engineering team to maintain, optimize, implement, and develop custom solutions. You will be responsible for technical platform monitoring, life cycle management of technical platforms based on Linux, AIX and open VMS.
To be successful as a system specialist, you should be able to do trend and health analysis, assessments and reporting for integration jobs end flows. You should be proactively looking for problems and risks in the technical system and have problem solving skills to mitigate them.
A top-notch system specialist should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and should be a team player.
System Specialist Responsibilities:
Technical Platform Monitoring
LCM(Life cycle Management) of Technical platform (Linux, AIX and Open VMS)
Trend and health analysis, assessments, reporting for integration jobs and flowsRequired Technical and Professional
Collaborating with engineering, development teams and Product owners to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions. Modifying and improving existing systems.
Educating teams on the implementation of new technologies and initiatives.
Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining open source based systems.
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
Interacting with clients, providing clou support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
The selection is continuous and the role will be filled as soon as possible.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of experience in IT.
SQL, Shell Scripting, Linux/AIX/Open VMS (Command level).
Customer handling experience.
Expert in problem solving skills, during major business critical incidents.
Experience and worked with Service Level1 application.
Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
Client management skills.
Strong will and execution capability
