Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Aligned to one or more of our industry sectors you will establish nurture & develop relationships with the sector leadership and client teams in both Red Hat & IBM. You will evangelise IBM's Red Hat service offerings & capabilities to build confidence & trust.

  • Understand and shape sector specific go to market propositions that harness the strength of IBM & Red Hat, which address clear client need, and which generate new services revenue streams.

  • Work with IBM client teams in existing IBM accounts to drive increased collaboration with Red Hat, leading to new sales and additional Red Hat Revenue. Become trusted advisor for clients, helping them map their business & hybrid cloud strategies to the Red Hat landscape.

  • Lead co-sell with Red Hat into IBM white space accounts, ensuring alignment to sector priorities.

  • Work with the GBS Red Hat GTM Lead to ensure all relevant resources are mapped for key deal & sector pursuits.

  • Ensure accurate pipeline and Partner Central administration, working with both IBM Client teams, IBM operations teams and Red Hat Alliance organisation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • You will have existing network within Red Hat & clients within one or more of

-Public Sector (inc health)

-Financial Services

-Energy, Environment & Utilities

-Communications

-Industrials & Defence

-Retail, CPG & T&T

  • Experience of selling in a professional services consulting organisation, especially from within a service line, managing a matrix stakeholder landscape.

  • Experience of selling cloud based transformations, especially related to application modernisation and cloud migration, data & AI, IoT / Edge, security, DC exit.

  • End to end sales management experience - able to source leads, manage to sale, lead commercial negotiations

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong CxO relationships and ability to build and maintain these

  • Red Hat accreditations / certifications

  • Experience working in multiple industries

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Cloud platform topologies

  • Knowledge of Cloud Transformations & Migration approaches

  • Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS areas within the Red Hat and Cloud Hyperscaler technology stacks
