Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a technical pre-sales that is able to support the two existing SCR sellers in Slovenia with the required content and technical expertise in the Hybrid cloud and application management space. Ideal background from in industries: Banking, Telco, Utilities.The role of the Services Technical Sales Representative is to develop IBM relationship with clients in the services market, thereby providing business solutions to their business needs. Understands the Telecommunications, Banking, Government and Insurance sectors. Participates on a cross-functional team, taking advantage of all sales/support resources available. Maintains an effective business relationship with client contacts and identifies sales opportunities. Assists in the selection of the appropriate offering and route to market that will meet the client's business objectives. Builds and maintains working relationship with members of other IBM functions.We are looking for a candidate with technical background, being able to be in support of Kyndryl sales.
Develops and maintains an effective business relationship with customer accounts;
Organize and actively participate in proposal preparation;
Collaborates to understand clients business and recommends solutions that support the successful implementation of a client's business strategy;
Reviews the client's business issues and consults on solutions/services or alternatives;
Responds to client issues and concerns by ensuring the involvement of the proper IBM functions;
Performs sales account planning, evaluates IBM competitive advantages, and identifies potential areas of improvement;
Assists in forecasting business volumes by using market knowledge, techniques and tools, etc.; * Ensures business is conducted within business ethical guidelines and highest customer satisfaction.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Developed sales knowledge and experience of IBM technology products and services;
High level thinking/understanding of services market;
Ability to work with reporting documents and to create forecast and drive/manage pipeline;
Experience in working with RFPs;
Negotiation and presentation mastery;
Fluency in English
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Technical pre sales, consulting sales skills, proposal preparation and team orchestration, analytics and presentation skills, requirement gathering.
Background from infrastructure technologies companies ideally from integrators that Kyndryl will join soon in following Industries: Banking, Telco, Utilities.
