Your Role and Responsibilities
Currently, we are looking for WebSphere MQ Administrator . As MQ Administrator you will manage and administer MQ server instances for IBM Major Client. On this position, you will mostly care of whole MQ environment based on variates system operation like Linux, Windows, Solaris, AIX, z/OS on MQ Server versions: 7,8,9,9.1. As a specialist on this role you will handle with maintenance, troubleshoot analyses, FixPack implementation and upgrade planning and realization. Nice to have scripting skills. You will work within the team of professionals in different IT areas such as Project Management, Change Management, Systems Operations, that will allow you to gain multi-disciplinary experience and up-skill in different areas.
MQ errors analyzing
Resolving incidents, troubleshooting
Supporting Customers Changes, Request and Projects
Upgrading, Patch implementation,
Defining and modifying MQ configurations such as queues, listener ports, channels, pub/sub, etc
Security hardening of IBM MQ to include TLS encryption and Authority/Authentication Records
Internal and external trainings and certifications
Upskilling programs, wide possibilities of skills’ development

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Positive attitude and willing for gain technical knowledge
Knowledge on MQ administration tasks using MQSC Commands
Unix operations systems command level and scripting knowledge
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
1+ years of relevant experience in MQ Administration
Application Server Administration knowledge
Familiarity with HPSM or any other ticketing tool
