IBM IT Security Architect in Katowice, Poland

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are currently looking for IT Security Architect who will join our Risk & IT Security team. The role will include designing, building, validating and deploying security systems and networks for IT projects, and planning and managing penetration tests for client environments.

We offer possibility of certification in risk and it security area.

This job ad is for IBM CIC in Katowice, but work can be done remotely from any place in Poland.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • designing, building, validating and deploying security systems and networks for IT projects;

  • preparing new, verifying existing and proposed security standards and architectures, also recommending changes and improvements to them;

  • aligning security setup, frameworks, policies and standards with overall business and technology strategy;

  • performing continuous review of existing security architecture and provide recommendations for enhancements, changes and additions;

  • overseeing the implementation of security systems including security methodologies, applications and equipment;

  • responding without delay to security-related incidents and provide thorough remedial solutions and analysis

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in designing, deploying and supporting enterprise security architectures;

  • Experience working with multiple security solutions;

  • Proficient with network stack design and implementation;

  • Experience in delivering and developing security solutions;

  • Experience in working with consulting and systems integration methods;

  • Technical teams leadership experience;

  • Advanced level of written and spoken English and high level of communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Certification related to IT Security field
