IBM Product Manager in Hursley, United Kingdom

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Product Owner you will be focused on helping to define and deliver to market offerings targeting the Event Driven Integration market.

In this role, you will be required to engage on all aspects of product management, including (but not limited to):

  • Oversee design of offerings and development / execution of offering business plans; responsible for commercial success of the offering(s)

  • Define user value proposition and experience roadmap; lead design of differentiated offering and customer experience

  • Develop end-to-end business plan for offering(s); set detailed direction and priorities across disciplines and monitor follow-through activities

  • Manage offerings in market and respond to market feedback / changes

  • Actively participate in backlog planning, including requirements definition and prioritization.

As a Technical Product Manager your specific responsibilities will be to:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other organizations, teams, and stakeholders to drive strategic engineering efforts

  • Work with product managers and UI/UX design teams to deliver applications with engaging user experiences at their core

  • Analyze and balance the various aspect of software development -timeline, quality, capacity, etc.

  • Manage a wide range of internal stakeholders from multiple domains with varying levels of influence

  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers, and user researchers to analyze patterns, trends, and identify new opportunities for growth

  • Work with Engineering Lead to establish the vision for the product

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Prior experience in offering management (product management), or similar

  • Customer and market analysis, CX

  • Business case development

  • Experience and understanding of Kakfa technologies and market opportunity Presentations (Powerpoint) for customers, including C-level, and sales enablement

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Previous technical experience in IBM's Integration technologies like IBM MQ, App Connect, API Connect, DataPower and Aspera.

  • Agile development and backlog planning/prioritization

  • Product marketing and GTM experience
