Your Role and Responsibilities
Main responsibilities are to guarantee placement of Purchased Orders (PO) and delivery of spare parts to LA warehouses.
Delivery: Execution Buyer must ensure all parts will be shipped on the delivery date shown in the PO and escalate if necessary, in order to guarantee continuity of supply.
PO types: Delivery responsibility includes SAP/Caaps POs for INEW (including Rework), IREP and IWAR POs. SAOM, integrated with supplier, SPO, warehouse, procurement, logistics and engineer team, will also support activities/functions related to the return of material to suppliers for repair or to claim warranty.
Orderbook management: Close communication with supplier to guarantee Purchase Order has been received and delivery date will be met
Manage new buy, rework, repair and warranty order, monitoring delivery and escalating and involving other team in order to solve any issue until the parts arrive (price, obsolete part, wrong lead time, pcs lost, component shortage, shipping requirement, etc)
Manage PO changes (qty, price, delivery dates)
Bids: to bid parts out when there is no contract in place and there is urgent/one time need.
Supplier performance: Manage suppliers’ ontime ship performance (OTSP) for key suppliers and work on action plan for recovery
Critical Parts: Responsible for expediting critical parts (when requested / pointed out by SPO)
Understand E2E process, Support activities: Payments , credits, Logistics/Importation, End of life / Obsolete PN/ LTB (last time buy, EC(engineer change), NPI (new product introduction).
Business projects / transformation: support new TSS projects and transformations
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
English (advanced) and Spanish (advanced), Excel (intermediate), SAP, Cognos, great communication and teamwork, innovation, root cause analyses ability to deal with different department and handle multiple tasks
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Negotiation, experience in working global environment and contacting external companies. Adaptability, emotional intelligence, dealing with critical situations and workload.
