Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM CIO area has an open position for a software developer to help build high value solutions using latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-art software. We are looking for experienced passionate developers who are skilled and experienced in the best practices related to application development and testing.
Work on existing and new applications. Expected to innovate and add value to those;
Collaborate on a technical basis with your squad lead, and the other squad member;
Designing and implementing tests;
Leveraging our test automation frameworks and contribute to growing test automation capability;
Participate with your squad and contribute in the sprint/iteration planning process and retrospectives (ie. Agile practices).
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Graduated in Computer Science or Equivalent;
Hands-on experience in software development using the programming languages: Java, NodeJS;
Hands-on Implementing test automation tools (jUnit, Selenium, Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Jest);
Experience working with databases based on SQL and NoSQL (DB2, MySQL, Mongo, CouchDB, etc);
Experience with GitHub based source control systems;
Knowledge in Object-oriented Programming (POO);
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Knowledge of Cloud (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc);
React, Angular.js, Angular;
DevOps (Jenkins, Travis, etc);
Knowledge in software engineering practices including agile techniques;
