IBM Client Engineer - Technology Engineer in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Introduction

IBM is looking for a Technical Sales specialist who will be responsible for developing and maintaining trusted client relationships at all levels within a client's organization. As a deep Technical Subject Matter Expert and Strategic Thinker, you will help customers, IBM account teams and Business Partners to create and develop cloud strategies, roadmaps and technical plans (focused around Integration) to enable the strategic goals of your clients.

Integration is a corner stone of customers' Digital Transformation. Companies that embrace agile Integration principles will lead and those who do not will fall behind. An IBM Integration expert helps IBM's clients simplify and automate daily operations driven by agile integration architecture and digital transformation enablers. This engineer will engage directly in solving real-world integration problems in the context of application integration and be responsible for delivering optimal Integration solution for IBM clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Client Engineering - Technology Seller of IBM Hong Kong, responsible for the promotion of Turbonomic solution in Hong Kong, covering the solution area of:

  • Application Resource Management (ARM) platform continuously assures that applications get precisely the right resources needed to perform, while maintaining policy compliance and eliminating overspending.

  • Network Performance Management (NPM) technology provides modern monitoring and analytics solutions that organizations need to monitor their network infrastructure, and simplifies the extraction and enrichment of metric, flow, and streaming telemetry data across multi-vendor networks enabling enterprises, carriers, and managed service providers to ensure optimal network operations and performance.

Turbonomic BTS need be highly motivated, collaborative and a self-starter and will play direct role in driving and growing market share and help to build Turbonomic into the crown jewel of IBMs IT resurgence. Turbonomic BTS need to qualify, quantify opportunities, to deliver solution presentation and proposal for our customers, as well as to conduct technical engagement activities, like Solution Demonstration, Proof of Concept Test, Technical Workshop etc. Candidate should have in-depth skills of virtualization and Kubernetes Container technology in the market or in the cloud.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Graduate in Computer Science or other IT related program with less than 2 years of full-time working experience.

  • Proficency in Java and J2EE.

  • Experience on HTML5, CSS, python

  • 1 year of software selling experience in enterprise and/or Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, BFSI, Government is preferred

  • Listen to business problems and develop software solutions

  • Possess can-do attitude

  • Highly self-directed, motivated and positive individuals with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable working on global and local accounts independently and produce results in a timely fashion

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Graduate in Computer Science or other IT related program with less than 2 years of full-time working experience.

  • Prior knowledge on DBA (workflow, content, rules, advanced capture and robotic process automation and process mining is an advantage), and familiarity with any RPA and Process Mining (ex. Celonis, WDG, UIPath, AA, Blueprism) is plus

  • Ability to conduct discovery workshop, understanding design thinking is an advantage

  • Technical or presales experience in Mainland China, Taiwan and HK preferred
