The project team will be focused on delivering a banking platform for the bank's retail clients. The 25 practitioners in the team will be spread across all digital roles within the client environment, including but not limited to Product Owner, Project Management, BA, Architect, Designers, Developers and Content Writers, etc.

The immediate focus of the team will be the delivery of cart platform to financial services client.

The UI/UX role is an integral part of this engagement and this practitioner will work with the project development team collaboratively to deliver the client solution.

As a UI/UX Designer on this project, you will be responsible for gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building the navigation components of the client solution in an agile environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise include the following:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in human factors and ergonomics, , UX & UI Design, Qualtrics, Human Computer Interaction, Design Thinking Methodology, Content/Translation Strategy, User Interface Design, Cognitive Psychology, InVision, Sketch, Agile Development in Design, Communication, Storytelling & Prototyping

  • Advanced in English

  • Working experience in the financial services industry is an advantage

Summary of Responsibilities for UI/UX Designers

  • As a UI/UX Designer, this practitioner will illustrate design ideas and develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the solution will look and function

  • Design GUI elements and build page navigation buttons and fields

  • This practitioner will prepare and present drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders, and troubleshoot UX problems

  • Attend and participate in all planned scrum ceremonies and activities as required by the Scrum Master and/or PM

  • Participate in design/defect remediation sessions with various stakeholders like Business Analyst (BA), Product Owner (PO) to provide the key inputs specific to eBanking project

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years as a UX or Product Designer,

  • 3+ years experience with Sketch/InVision and/or Adobe CC,

  • 3+ years experience creating user stories, personas, wireframes, and prototypes

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years as a UX or Product Designer,

  • 5+ years experience with Sketch/InVision and/or Adobe CC,

  • 5+ years experience creating user stories, personas, wireframes, and prototypes

Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
