The Product Professional Services (PPS) Mobility Security and Management Delivery Team is a customer facing, client billable organization with the mission to deliver excellent customer service to clients by assisting and leading technical projects to ensure products are successfully implemented. This team delivers the IBM Security MaaS360 product, a Unified Endpoint Management SaaS platform, that provides device management to administrators for visibility into their mobile environment and define security parameters, distribute apps, and provide access to resources to devices. This team also delivers the IBM Security Cloud Identity product, a SaaS based identity management solution to provide single touch single sign on for mobile devices, provisioning to Cloud applications, and provide conditional access to Cloud applications based on security posture.
This position will be responsible for defining and leading delivery of highly visible, technical projects related to the IBM Security MaaS360 product and the IBM Security Cloud Identity Products. This individual will be a technical leader in the Mobile Security and Identity and Access Management technology space. This role will be a technical deployment architect in billable client engagements, providing technical oversight, direction, and mentorship to the PPS team on technical concepts and product direction and management. This person will advocate for the client in internal conversations with regards to product direction, technical requirements, and deployment designs. Clients will look to this individual for technical direction on how to approach complex technical and operational requirements. This person should be able to take client project requirements and provide full end to end deployment at an executive level and detailed level. Additionally, this role will provide Solution design for services contracts (engagement scope and level of effort). This person must be able to work independently with little oversight. This person must be able to speak publicly in front of a technical audience, speak clearly, and provide a leadership presence on topics such as product demonstrations and technical trainings. This role requires ability to handle stressful client situations and to provide clear direction on next steps. Practical experience in a consultant, technical sales, and/or support role is a plus.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 3 years of direct experience with Mobile Security product (e.g., MaaS360, Airwatch, InTune)
Minimum 3 years of knowledge of mobile OS and platforms (Mobile OS such as iOS, Android, Blackberry, and Window phone. Platforms such as iOS MDM, Android for Work/Android Enterprise, macOS, Windows10 management)
Minimum 5 of customer facing experience
Minimum 3 years experience as a team lead, including providing team member direction and/or mentoring
Demonstrated success in design and/or implementation of a mobile security system, or in a large, complex, and/or multi-product integration
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Hands on experience with IBM Security MaaS360
Demonstrated design and implementation of Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Demonstrated design and implementation of Unified Endpoint Management solutions
Practical experience as consultant, sales or support personnel
Knowledge of Identity Management concepts and deployment (e.g., SAML2.0, OAuth, LDAP), and familiarity with Access Control and permissions management
Knowledge of authentication practices such as Kerberos, NTLM, Basic, Digest, etc.)
Experience with IBM Cloud Identity, and IBM BigFix suite of products and services
Familiarity of Disaster Recovery and High Availability
Experience with Windows Server Management – certificates, Active Directory Federation Services, Active Directory and LDAP, IIS, etc.
