Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Services is growing, and we are seeking an individual to grow with us. We are looking for a results-oriented, intellectually curious, and highly-motivated person who has a track record of success in developing solutions - that will meet client needs, shorten our deployment lead times and improve the quality of our delivery. This is a dynamic market with fast evolving technology landscape, and this role is an opportunity to create new and existing solutions that will help our customers achieve measurable business outcomes.

As the Automation Inteligent Workflow Lead, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of targeted intelligent workflow-based solutions designed to provide IBM competitive differentiation in the market

  • Portfolio management and solution selection is conducted from within IBM Automation GIU Leadership and in partnership with industry/sector/service line leaders as appropriate

  • The portfolio build function creates and maintains a global standard process for solution targeting, analysis, business case creation, design, build, transition, deploy, support, and run

  • The squads will utilize the appropriate tools and agile-based approaches to managing the life-cycle

  • Squads will partner closely with industry teams to ensure crisp go-to-market messaging as part of the overall effort

  • Wherever possible existing IBM assets, platforms, technology, and offerings are leveraged.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years of proven successful experience deploying automation (in a CoE role, program management or process consultant capacity)

  • Exceptional communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing a large matrix environment

  • Experience and success working within the solutions development lifecycle to develop multiple solutions

  • Resourceful, creative and able to find innovative ways to achieve results

  • Technologically savvy and familiar with one or more of: IT and process automation, RPA, artificial intelligence, machine learning

  • Strong project management skills including budget and resource management

  • Detail oriented and highly skilled in staying focused amid complex situations

  • Independent thinker with the ability to ideate in unconventional ways

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3 years work experience using Agile Methdology

  • Understanding of IBM Design Thinking
