We are now looking for an Analytic Consultant to join our team and sit at a client site in Columbus, Ohio!
As an Analytic Consultant, you will provide interactive client support for a Medicaid customer to produce quality data reports and analysis that will help business leaders in their decision making. The Analytic Consultant actively collaborates with IBM Watson Health's national network of consultants to generate best of breed reporting designs for the client while also providing training and analytic expertise for the client. This position will also work with national leaders to learn cutting edge techniques and products to support the client for questions related to Medicaid and other healthcare specifications.
Overview Of Responsibilities
Define and document Client's reporting needs - categorize the standard versus ad hoc reports
Conduct exploratory analyses in support of analytic requirements
Design and create data reports and reporting tools to help business leaders in their decision making
Contribute and assist in managing quality data, quality assessments and advise on analytic methods
Report support - assist with requests for ad hoc reports, dashboard, custom healthcare analysis, miscellaneous research, etc.
Present the reports and results interpretation to Client
Support users/client and staff with proprietary software
Collaborate and work closely with clients and project team to deliver results
Provide on-site support and training to client end users
Complete analytic projects on time and manage multiple deliverables to the client
Participate in requirements analysis meetings for system enhancements
Operate independently and proactively with client staff
Successful Candidates Will Possess The Following Key Attributes
Problem solver, with demonstrated effective communication skills both written and oral to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to establish and maintain positive service oriented relationships with customer, partners and team to promote IBM Watson Health technical credibility as a trusted partner.
Proven track record of successful organizational and planning skills to meet customer focused requests.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a quantitative field such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology
At least 2 years work experience analyzing in the health care industry or related consulting
Strong analytical skills and basic skills in basic statistical analysis
Experience in technologies/tools such as Cognos, SAS, SPSS, Python, R, SQL or other Business Intelligence tools
Proven track record of task management skills
