This position is responsible for managing and implement the Master Data Management (MDM) projects associated with the Georgia Enterprise Data Solution (EDS). The work involves the creation and maintenance of a Member MDM Hub, a Provider MDM Hub, and a Household MDM Hub. This position will report to the Director of Data Warehouse Development and will partner closely with the Data Governance Lead on the Project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management, leadership, oversight and status reporting of strategic & tactical MDM initiatives and projects, to successful and on-time completion, working with key internal stakeholders

  • Analysis and resolution of complex data relationship and data cleansing scenarios

  • Refinement/Development and implementation of business processes, both within the MDM organization as well as across multiple internal organizations, focusing on increasing data quality, process efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction

  • Development and execution of test plans for Master Data system implementations and upgrades

  • Development and implementation of training plans for MDM and other internal team members

  • Participation in MDM system implementation projects

  • Execution of short-term, high priority, data management tasks

  • Contribute to the development of MDM strategy and roadmaps, across multiple MDM domains

  • Monitoring, management, load-balancing and reporting of MDM team tasks

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Requested Experience

  • 7 years previous experience in a Master Data Management (MDM) role and/or related field

  • Knowledgeable about Informatica’s MDM and ETL solutions

  • Experience with the Oracle 12g and the Oracle Exadata Environment

  • Experience with Data Vault and Dimensional Data Modeling techniques and their impact on MDM Architectures

  • Experience with Medicaid, Healthcare, or the Healthcare Insurance business environments

  • System implementation experience, including data migration and data integration processes

  • Project management experience

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Ability to understand complex data models and business processes relating to master data domains such as Member, Provider, and Household

  • Ability to lead projects and initiatives, including collection and synthesis of requirements, recommendations, working with business and Information Service groups to implement

  • Must be able to be successful in an extremely fast-paced and constantly changing environment

  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically approach problem solving, and manage execution

  • Demonstrated ability to plan strategically, identify strategic options and trade-offs

  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills

  • Experience with master data management, transactional data, data governance, data warehousing, analytical MDM, and stewardship

  • Experience with Member, Provider, and Household Data

  • Prior use of Master Data Management Solutions
