Your Role and Responsibilities
Python Tracer Engineer
Instana is looking for an energetic and proactive individual to join our Python Integration Tracer team. The position is at the IBM office in BÖblingen.
The team you will be joining has the mission of ensuring Instana has the best possible support for Python applications, particularly the cloud native applications used by our customers.
The role involves:
Ensuring our tracer maintains compatibility with the latest versions of Python and all the Python modules that we support
Responding to and resolving customer support cases
Some Java development
Creating unit and integration tests
Working with our teams and geos in cross-team initiatives
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5 years Python development experience
2 years Java development experience
Ability to work with multiple parties to ensure project delivery within concrete timelines
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Test driven development
