Your Role and Responsibilities

Every business is unique and there are myriad ways we can help them grow. Our mission in Ecosystem Marketing is to help business partners realize that value - paving their path to growth with IBM. We're accountable for shaping innovative and meaningful ways to help business partners discover new ways to use technology for their customers - and to get the most out of it. From helping them build new products, to incorporating our solutions into the services they deliver and/or enabling them to resell it as a part of their portfolio, we find, retain, and grow partnerships across the globe.

As a Web Strategist on the Ecosystem team, you will relentlessly optimize to deliver exceptional web experiences and drive conversion. Web Strategists leverage data, research, and expertise to build captivating and curated experiences that engage clients and accelerate growth.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop an integrated web strategy that engages the target audience and ensures business objectives are strategically aligned across the web experience. You will develop and execute on tactics that optimize traffic through to conversion.

The ideal candidate will be a web strategist who is creative, collaborative, and has a passion for data-driven marketing.

  • Create and optimize web experiences to deliver outcomes against key business objectives.

  • Collaborate across Marketing and business stakeholders to define the web strategy.

  • Take the initiative to relentlessly optimize the web experience using data, research, and experimentation.

  • Understand the assigned product ecosystem and user journey.

  • Conduct competitive and SEO research to build and maintain sitemap.

  • Set baseline performance metrics, track and report KPIs, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Be well-versed in a broad set of digital tools across web, analytics

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • Previous experience at geography or global level

  • Strong ability to adapt in new environments and drive continuous improvement

  • Proven experience with conflict management, decision making and problem solving

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Web Strategist or agency equivalent or other marketing disciplines web related

  • Hands on experience in Adobe Experience Manager Sites, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Masters in marketing, advertising or design

  • 4+ years of experience as a Web Strategist or agency equivalent, or other marketing disciplines related to web
