IBM Brand Digital Sales Specialist in Brookhaven, Georgia

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Brand Digital Sales Specialist/ Account Manager, you will be responsible for a defined territory where you will be tasked to maintain IBM's superior level of customer focus, while identifying, negotiating, and closing technology and maintenance support services with-in this customer set.

  • Engage IBM and non-IBM clients to develop new sales opportunities and drive them to closure.

  • Personal drive and ambition to make you stand out and overachieve quarterly targets.

  • Through continuous personal development, you will become a subject matter authority and act as an influencer and trusted advisor for your clients.

  • Create and execute account management activities such as follow-on sales and other solution based selling activities.

  • Working closely with the IBM Storage Business Partner network to leverage their skills and client interactions through to close.

  • Expected to have a social media presence to promote the brand, engage, interact, and influence your clients.

  • Brand Digital Sales Specialists are expected to find a resolution if an obstacle is encountered when generating business and manage to resolution.

  • Ability to build your network of contacts both within IBM and your client base, making yourself the "go to" person for your specific field.

  • Challenge and gather personal interest in everything to be accomplished, placing IBM's client first, being prepared to take on challenges, solve problems, and work with your team to get things done.

  • Demonstrate clear communication skills and be able to present complex concepts, designs, and solutions, both verbally and visibly.

Initiative and dedication is essential to enable you to work in a fast-moving and challenging environment. Brand Digital Sales Specialists, must be able to demonstrate communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Positions are located in Brookhaven, GA. Preferred candidates will be from Greater Atlanta area

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • ​​Proven track record of at least three (3) years in Sales.

  • Proven exemplary skills in Sales pipeline progression, forecasting, utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

  • Demonstrated social media presence and ability to utilize digital tools in sales role.

  • Capability to show evidence of professional development through certifications, course completions in technical/ sales forums.

  • Fluent communication in English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Sales experience of at least two (2) years in Information Technology.

  • Understanding of Storage and Infrastructure solutions.

  • Experience selling Data/ Storage solutions is a plus.
