Your Role and Responsibilities
The Intern Test Specialist understands the business requirements, designs and executes test cases in order to achieve an optimal requirement coverage. She or he participates in the test design and architecture of the application and is able to fulfill the tasks according to the test strategy.
The Intern Test Specialist will be part of a Test Center with several testing paths possible to be followed: Business Testing, Infrastructure and Environment Testing, Load- and Performance Testing and Test Automation.
Designs, develops and documents functional and non-functional test cases
Executes and documents functional and/or non-functional test cases according to the testing path chosen
Executes manual and/or automated test cases according to the test path chosen
Reports, tracks and retests defects
Understands the test strategy and ensures that every task is fulfilled according to it
The internship is on 3-month contract, full time, with start date as soon as the ideal candidate is identified. There is high possibility of continuity after these 3 months of internship.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
fresh graduate or student in final year of studies - preferred are Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics or any related university.
Nice to have theoretical knowledge in technologies like (or similar to): SQL, XML, Selenium (or any other Automation tool)
Good communication skills, team player
Attention to Detail
Keeps pace with technical innovation

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Theoretical knowledge in test method, test design, test execution, test documentation, reporting and specification
Theoretical knowledge in Design, creation and execution of functional and/or non-functional test cases
Theoretical knowledge in Design, creation and execution of manual and/or automated test cases
Theoretical knowledge in the Software Development Lifecycle
Testing Course (like ISTQB Foundation) is a plus
