IBM Open Source Support Specialist in BOGOTA, Colombia

Your Role and Responsibilities

As part of the TSS team, you will provide platform support and infrastructure of Open Source products primarily. Also, you will be able to implement and install openSource products and IBM logo.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • To have knowledge in Open Source products of SOA and DevOps, and integration with databases.

  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems, Dockers, Kubernetes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Effective communication

Possess the ability to convey ideas and concepts with ease and understand the needs of internal and external customers.

  • Analysis capacity

Understand customer needs and interpret them in service requirements, evaluating the technical feasibility and the resources required (conditions, time and space).

  • Troubleshooting Capability

Understand the incidents and problems that arise in customer platforms and propose alternative solutions, through consultation of available material or by consulting other specialists

  • Leadership

Address the activities of the operation and those entrusted to it in a methodical way that allows obtaining results that generate value to the organization and customers.

  • Customer management

Generate links with the client that generate trust and sense of commitment.

  • Teamwork

Share and identify their capacity and that of the other members of the team or other units, in such a way that they can provide concepts that raise prospects for solution.
