Your Role and Responsibilities :

Mission

Design Talent Strategy based on BU insights and IBM People Strategy—taking into account employee engagement, employee value proposition, career & skills, & experiences.

Provide advice to Business Leaders for talent offerings based on insight.

Influence execution structure of talent offerings.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the Business Unit leadership team to co-create, design, align and reinforce the People Strategy for their business unit including influencing investment in business planning cycles such as Fall Plan, Spring Plan, etc.

Apply enterprise and BU specific talent offerings as part of the defined Talent (People) Strategy.

Ensure an integrated (one HR experience) approach to all talent objectives, which include, but are not limited to: workforce planning, strategic diversity initiatives, and capacity management.

Identify key initiatives required to address the skill and capability goals of the business.

Use your iterative, experimental mindset to translate feedback into execution

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  5. Understanding and experience in HR disciplines (Performance management, diversity, Leadership development, Learning, etc)

  6. Strong consultative and project management skills to lead design, development and execution of solutions

  7. Design thinking, agile skills to be able to prototype and continuously iterate

  8. Ability to apply critical thinking, gain insights from data, and tell the story in a consumable way to leadership

  9. Strong data analytics and visualization skills and can assist in resolving people analytics requests, analyzing data using Excel, etc.
