The Senior Application Developer - Adobe Experience Manager Developer will perform technical design, development and configuration of web content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. The Developer is responsible for reviewing and understanding the client's business requirements and for translating those requirements into Adobe Experience Manager implementation specifications. Specific tasks typically include: build and maintain web applications using Adobe’s Experience Manager CMS to include site architecture, custom components, workflow development, and Digital Asset Management; design and code, and integrate application business layer with external application components; write standards compliant code including testing/debugging in multiple browsers and platforms; work with visual and UX designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences, microsites, HTML emails, and other digital media; integrate search technologies and web analytics with Adobe Experience Manager; and provide technical expertise and ownership of technical solutions.

Travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position.

You must live in , or be willing to relocate to, LOUISIANA . The work location is 100 North St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. This is not a work from home position.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant IT experience is required

  • At least 3 year of Adobe Experience Manager application development and implementation

  • At least 3 years of Java-based web application design and development

  • At least 3 years of Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript and responsive web design

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience with build/continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Hudson

  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target

  • Adobe Experience Manager building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and bundles

  • Java Content Repository API, Sling web framework, Apache Felix OGSi framework, DAM, and workflows

  • Experience with source control systems, Maven, web services and SQL
